MISSION:LOVE 5

The Passion of Christ calls for disciples of the cross.  They form the true community of God’s people. Shunning strife and divisiveness, they are like the Lamb, who did not retaliate or insist on His rights, but endured and loved.  The world can tell they are His disciples by their love for one another, expressed in unity.  This is the bond linking true disciples of the cross.  It transcends national and denominational barriers.  They may not be aware of each other’s existence, they may never meet; yet when they do, there is an immediate affinity.  They instinctively recognize each other because they all bear a cross.  They are close to Jesus and close to one another, drawn by the same love for the Lamb of God.
