MISSION:DESTINY & PURPOSE  7 

In Matthew 10:34-39  Jesus makes some intense statements, including the following:  “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it.” His Disciples follow Him.  This means walking the same road that He walked.  He was willing to do the Father’s will instead of His own.  (Luke 22:42)  Part of our destiny and purpose involves doing the same thing.  Discuss what your cross is with your Mentor.  How can you lose your life for His sake?  Take time talking with God about your answers and write them in your journal as well.
