One of the most effective ways to build true fellowship and community is by sharing testimonies.  When we learn where each of us comes from, what God has done in our lives, our struggles, our victories and our journey with the Lord, we build strong bonds of love that help us understand and relate to each other from a very giving and godly place.  Each of us has an innate desire to know and be known.  Make sure in your initial stages of building community that you take whatever time is required to hear people’s testimonies, and share your own. Always make sure that you’re continually being open and honest with each other.  Transparency is essential for building godly relationships.
