MISSION:DOER 8

 If we have lived our lives with thought patterns that aren’t based on truth when we start to read the Bible it may seem very foreign to us, and quite the opposite of things we have believed our entire lives.  In fact, many of the truths about the Kingdom of God, which is what is taught and revealed through God’s Word, are the exact opposite of what the world thinks to be true.  For example, the Bible teaches that it’s better to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35) And that the greatest among us are those willing to be servants. (Matt. 23:11) 

Being a doer of the Word requires being humble and willing to learn new truths.
