Deliverance Tool

5 step process:

  1. Confess the sin
  2. Repent of the sin
  3. Renounce the sin
  4. Bind every demonic spirit that is working through the gateways opened by the sin
  5. Drive out every demonic spirit that is working through the gateways opened by the sin

STEP 1: CONFESS

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the sin that He wants you set free from.

1 John 1:5-10

Confess: say the same thing or concede.  It’s a legal term.  When the Holy Spirit convicts us of sin we need to agree with Him and respond appropriately.  We don’t run from God.  We run to God because we’re accepted in the beloved.

Sample prayer: “Father God, I come before you in the Name of Messiah Yeshua (Jesus Christ) and I confess my sin of __________________.”

Confession is the first step of self-deliverance.

STEP 2: REPENT

Romans 2:4

Repentance is the next step.  Repent means to change our thinking. It means we were going one direction and now we’re going to turn 180 degrees and go the other direction.

Next, we make a determination that we’re going to go the other direction.

Sample prayer: “God I’m sorry that I’ve participated with the sin of ____________. I’m choosing to have a different attitude in this situation. Help me to change my thinking regarding how I engage around this sin. I’m not going to do it any more God.”

STEP 3: RENOUNCE

2 Cor. 4:2

Renounce means to break agreement.

Sample prayer “I renounce my sin of ________________.”

Once you renounce a sin, in the spirit realm you are breaking agreement with it and crushing gateways to evil demonic powers associated with the sin. Agreements are broken and the legal requirements for the cleansing of the sin are met because you’ve confessed  and repented.

Now what happens is there a bunch of demons floating around to harass both you and any other people involved in the sin.

Ephesians 6:10-12

STEP 4: BIND

“Father God in the Name of Jesus (Yeshua) I declare that every demon and evil spirit working against me and others through the open door of (sin) _________________  is now bound.

This causes all the demons on assignment because of that open door to be tied up. If we just tie them up and leave them there they’ll stay there. We need to send the demons somewhere for judgement, punishment and sentencing for what they did.

STEP 5: REMOVE

“And in the Name of Yeshua/Jesus I declare that every demon that has just been bound is sent to where the true Lord Messiah Yeshua/Jesus Christ sends them.  Get out!!!

This is where deliverance manifests.

This method can be applied to most areas of our lives where we fall into sin.
